Hello, everybody,
Long, long time and no see 🙂
My last post was actually last year in November, so I guess I need to start with happy new year 🙂
Lots of things have happened in the meantime – apparently the pandemic has come to an end and a war has started. I guess the world is going mad and 2022 is not as happy as we wished it to be.
While I am deeply saddened by the events, I have an internal happiness which is very personal, this being the reason why I haven’t posted in a while. It will not be very visible in the first photos, but I tried my best to share the bump. What bump? well the baby bump 🙂
Yes, I am a little pregnant 🙂 – to be very specific, I am in week 21 (end of month 5) as we speak, but the pics below were taken in week 19. Even if I want to take pics now, winter is back and it is very cold.
I managed to take some pics in week 19 and in week 20 before the cold and snow. Hopefully I will take some more when spring will make an appearance 🙂
Let’s get back to the pregnancy and the outfit of the day :).
In terms of pregnancy life, I must say the first 3 months were the most difficult months of my life – never have I been so sick in my life. I read everywhere about morning sickness – what is that? in my case I was just feeling extremely sick and nauseous from morning till bedtime for 3 months straight and that is it. I have never puked once, yet I cannot explain how horrible I was feeling – even drinking water was making me sick and when I had to eat, I was crying while forcing myself to eat. Sorry for being so bluntly truthful, but this was my experience.
After week 14/15 I could see a glimpse of light and the sickness started to fade – I don’t think I could have survived the whole 9 months feeling like that.
Enough about this and let’s get back to the outfit 🙂
Well, once I started feeling better, I wanted to see what clothes are out there for pregnant ladies. My god, was I disappointed – majority of them are black, dark blue or grey and the designs are just WTF. I have found a few better ones on ASOS – they have a specific maternity line, but they are kinda expensive and I thought to myself – why invest in some clothes to wear for a short period and then what to do with them?
So, I decided not to buy specific maternity items for now and rather to check my wardrobe to see what stretchy clothes I have in the first place and to try to wear those first. In terms of buying new ones, I will buy clothes made out of stretchy materials. I heard that in the 3rd trimester you will explode – well, if that happens I will buy some curtains, wrap myself it them and that is it :))). Until then, I hope I will manage somehow to be chic and cute 🙂
Today’s outfit, besides the cute and cuddly bear, which is here to bear the good news :), I have a lovely dotted skirt which was recently bought from regular clothes area, not maternity, an older sweater and a jeans jacket. I think jeans jackets or jeans shirts will be my go to items in this pregnancy, cause they go well with everything.
I will close now this long post, but stay tuned, cause I have 2 more outfits in the weeks to come.
Enjoy!
Skirt: Reserved / Sweater, jacket: random stores / Boots: CCC / Bear: H&M
Long live the green!

Oh you are so cute!!! I was horribly sick with all my kids and it really is an endurance test. Hang in there. I promise you it will be worth in. So happy for you.
Thank you! 🙂
